CGMA: Weeks 1-2: 2021

These are my favorite shots from weeks 1 & 2 of the CGMA lighting course taught by the venerable Peter Tran. Huge thanks for all the great lessons and feedback from him as well as Omar Gatica
This is also my first time using physical exposure/units - which was pretty neat as an adjustment to the typical workflow


Used UE5 with Lumen + Hardware Raytracing + Raytraced Shadows
The level is from the elemental demo. Adjusted albedo/material parameters to help get the most out of Lumen 
Used bounce-card/cove-lighting techniques on the character close-up (Lumen is so fun I can not emphasize this enough)
